Unique group experiences in the UK

Looking for a group experience you haven't done before?

House of Deceit turns a two-night stay in Whitstable, Kent, into a private game of secrets, alliances and betrayal for 10–15 friends.

If you're searching for a unique event experience for your group, the format matters as much as the activity. Do you want something to do for an hour, an evening together, or a whole weekend with a shared story?

House of Deceit is a fully hosted, Traitors-inspired social deduction experience with accommodation. Your group stays in one private house for two nights. Some players are secretly killers; everyone has to work out whom to trust as challenges, fictional murders and trials unfold.

What makes this different from a single activity?

The story continues between the organised parts of the game. A conversation over breakfast or a secret deal in the kitchen can change what happens at the next trial. You sleep in the house where you play, with exclusive use for your group.

There is no need to organise separate accommodation and a main activity. The host runs the game, assigns roles and guides the challenges and trials. You don't need acting experience, costumes or knowledge of the television programme.

Is it right for your group?

It is a game about deception, accusations and elimination, so the people coming should want to take part in that kind of experience. If your group wants a short activity or a quiet stay without a game, the two-night format may not suit you. Ask us about accessibility and sleeping arrangements before booking if these affect your decision.

What does it cost?

Friday starts are £166 per person. Selected Sunday and weekday starts are £126 per person. The booking calendar shows prices and availability for your dates.

The price includes two nights of accommodation, the fully hosted game, challenges, murders and trials, and welcome pizzas on the first evening. Other meals and drinks are self-catered; the house has a large kitchen. Your group arranges its own travel.
