A House of Deceit birthday is not a themed dinner followed by an ordinary weekend. The game begins on the first night and keeps changing the way your group talks, competes and makes alliances until the ending on the second night.
What makes it different?
The group is not watching actors solve somebody else's mystery. Every guest plays as themselves, but not everyone is telling the truth. Decisions made during challenges and trials determine how the weekend develops.
Because everyone stays together, suspicion follows the group into breakfast, drinks, the garden and every conversation between the formal parts of the game.
How many people can attend?
The standard group size is 10–15 people. Larger groups of 16–20 should enquire before booking so that the sleeping arrangements and game can be checked.
How does payment work?
The lead booker chooses an available stay and can secure it with the cost of one place. Friends can then pay their own shares using the same payment link, subject to the booking terms.
What else is nearby?
The house is in Whitstable, around 15 minutes' walk from the station and close to the Kent coast. Groups can add time in the town, but the game and house are substantial enough to form the centre of the weekend.

Friday starts are £166 per person. Selected Sunday and weekday starts are £126 per person.
