Most live social-deduction games last for an evening. House of Deceit works differently: 10–15 people take over a large private house for two nights, and the game unfolds around the weekend you are already having together.
What happens during the weekend?
Guests arrive from 4pm on the first day. At Roll Call, the host assigns secret roles and the game begins. Murders and trials follow throughout the stay, while challenges create advantages, information and reasons to distrust the people around you.
The important difference is time. Alliances can form over breakfast. A casual conversation in the kitchen can change the next trial. Someone who looks innocent on Friday night may seem entirely different by Saturday afternoon.
Do eliminated players stop playing?
No. House of Deceit is designed as a group weekend, so nobody is sent home or left sitting outside the experience. The game changes around the players as it moves towards the final Pact of Three.
What is included?
- Two nights in the house
- A fully hosted game with secret roles
- Structured challenges, murders and trials
- Digital game elements and secret information
- Welcome pizzas on the first evening
The house is otherwise self-catered and has a large kitchen, five ovens and two full-size fridges. Supermarket deliveries can be sent to the property.
Who is it for?
The experience works best for friends, birthday groups, hen parties and other groups who enjoy competitive games, performance and arguing their case. Nobody needs acting experience and nobody needs to have watched the television programme.
Book the whole experience
Prices are £166 per person for Friday starts and £126 per person for selected other start days. One person can secure an available date before the rest of the group pays.
